Make this creamy White Christmas Margarita in a pitcher for easy holiday entertaining. This festive tequila drink uses coconut milk for a snowy look and tastes refreshing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 18 oz canned coconut milk
  • 6 oz coconut water
  • 6 oz orange liqueur (like Grand Marnier)
  • 9 oz silver tequila
  • 4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup ice (for blending)
  • Optional garnish: Shredded coconut, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Gather all liquid ingredients: coconut milk, coconut water, orange liqueur, tequila, and lime juice.
  2. In a large pitcher or blender, combine the coconut milk, coconut water, orange liqueur, tequila, and lime juice. Stir or pulse briefly to mix.
  3. To serve immediately, add 1 cup of ice to the blender and blend until smooth. Pour into salt-rimmed glasses.
  4. For a pitcher serving style, mix all liquids in the pitcher and chill for at least one hour. When serving, pour individual portions over ice.
  5. If you want a frosty look, rim your glasses with lime juice and then press the rims into shredded coconut before pouring the drink. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Notes

  • For a cranberry twist, add 2 ounces of cranberry juice to the pitcher mixture.
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of agave nectar to the mix.
  • You can prepare the liquid base for this pitcher recipe up to 24 hours ahead of time and keep it refrigerated. Add ice just before serving.
