Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
1 large egg
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for crust)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 slices pepperoni
2 oz cooked, crumbled sausage
1 tablespoon low-carb tomato paste or pureed meat sauce (optional, for flavor)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, and Parmesan cheese (if using). Mix the ingredients by hand until just combined; do not overmix.
Press the meat mixture onto the prepared baking sheet into a thin, round pizza shape, about 1/4 inch thick. This forms your meatza crust.
Bake the crust for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the edges are browned and the center is mostly cooked through. Drain any excess grease from the crust.
Remove the crust from the oven. Spread a thin layer of low-carb tomato paste or meat sauce over the crust, if desired.
Top the crust evenly with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and crumbled sausage.
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute half the ground beef with ground pork or Italian sausage.
If you prefer a crustless pizza, layer the meat and toppings directly in a small, oven-safe dish and bake until done.
Use high-quality, full-fat cheese for the best texture and flavor.
