Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin removed
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons Sriracha (adjust for heat preference)
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until completely smooth.
Spoon about two-thirds of the sauce evenly over the top of each salmon fillet, spreading it to cover the surface.
Bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Baking time depends on fillet thickness.
Remove the salmon from the oven. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the cooked fillets before serving.
Serve immediately over rice or with your favorite side vegetables.
Notes
For extra crispy edges, place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the sauce.
If you prefer salmon bites, cut the fillets into 1-inch cubes before tossing with the sauce and baking.
Serve this dish as a healthy salmon meal alongside steamed broccoli or in a salmon rice bowl for a complete dinner.
